Converting from Garage to Mustang Stable

I sketched out a layout for the garage on a piece of paper to figure out where I would put benches, shelves, tools and equipment and of course what part of the floor the Mustang would occupy for the duration.

66ece8f8 I needed to have some room to open the doors most of the way, and need some room at the front end for removing and installing the engine. I had a three car garage so the layout wasn’t to tuff; turn the Mustang sideways in the garage and I would have all of the room I needed as well as a nice wide circulation path on one side of the car.

With the floor plan laid out it was time to begin cleaning up the garage and turning it into my workshop. This transition took me about three days, and included getting the storage unit, going through and organizing the contents of the garage into packages that could go to storage and moving shelving around. I was fortunate enough to already have built benches and they were constructed in location where they would remain.

Now I’ve got a clean shop and it’s got a Mustang in it.
