I Need Tools to Get This Job Done
When it comes to project and business success, its boils down to the people; not the technology or the tools that assist you on your way to a success. This has always been true in everything I’ve participated in from production and assembly, restoration and even software development; “It’s not the tools that build the car, it’s the people”. Even if you have a completely automated system there is still talented person that had the vision to make it possible.
So now, I’m tool-less! Kind of weird standing here in my garage thinking great; “I’ve got the people part covered” and that comment “It’s not the tools that build the car, it’s the people”, well that tool part is pretty important now!”
So I purchased a small tool set from Sears Liquidation on EBay the other day, it’s a Craftsman 104 pc. Mechanics Tool Set. It’s pretty much all sockets and drivers, a mix of standard and metric. I definitely need a few more tools, but not a lot to get the job done since most all of the major mechanical and body work will be contracted out. As the project progresses look for a list of common and necessary tools that will be required to work on your classic mustang.
