Preparing for Teardown

tools 001I just finished up my inventory list of parts that I will need to do the restoration on the 1967 Mustang and I am getting ready to begin tearing down the car and prepping it for its trip to the paint and body shop.

Taking apart a car and restoring its components can stir up quite a bit of dirt and I don't want that dust on my shelves or on the new and restored parts once they are on the shelves.

tools 003To solve this dilemma all I needed to do was pick up some plastic sheeting and some duct tap from paint section at my local hardware store. Problem solved, now my shelves and parts should be well protected from the elements.
