  • 5 :  Model Year = 1965
  •  F : Assembly Plant = Dearborn Michigan
  • 09 : Body Series = Convertible
  • A : Engine = 289 V8 with 4 barrel carburetor
  • 762973 : Consecutive Production Number

  1. U dont have correct example of a 69 mustang’s door warranty tag in the vin decoding area. U show a sample image of a tag that starts with a 6 which is for a 66 mustang. The sample image the sample image states that this applies to a 66, 67, 68, and 69. That is incorrect. I know for sure the 69 door warranty tag looks very different. The larger Ford logo is not at the bottom of the tag, it is just above codes for paint, trim, dso, etc. I strongly suspect that the 67, 68, and 69 tags are all the same style. The 66 maybe, but I don’t suspect so.
