Removing Brake Lines and Fuel Lines

Random_03 020Removing Mustang brake lines and fuel lines is one of the shorter tasks in my disassembly strategy. Although its pretty easy, it can get messy so be prepared to clean up as you go.

The lines to be removed include the fuel pump to tank line, front to rear brake line, and the rear end housing brake lines.

The brake and fuel lines are attached with a few clips and bolts. The illustration shows the clips under the floor pan; you can remove these clips with a pair of pliers from the interior by crimping the retainer clip together.
