More Tools for the Restoration Project

tools 005If you read one of my earlier posts then you know that I didn’t have much in the way of tools to do a restoration project; well that has changed. I started searching for tools last week to begin expanding my collection, the first thing on my list was a tool box. I found a nice tool box on closeout at Sears and it should hold most of the tools that I will need to do the job.

Getting the Mustang Running

3f41668fThe first thing I wanted to do with Project Playboy was try to get the engine running; the previous owner could not get it running prior to selling it to me. I looked like the spark plug wires were new, including the distributor cap, rotor, points and maybe the spark plugs too. There was also a new inline fuel filter installed that would later reveal a lot of debris coming from the fuel tank.
